ABOUT THE PAINTING
The shoes were tossed into the trash pile that lay waiting for pick-up on the Avenue du Chateau. Still vibrant and barely worn, these artistic shoes resembled an artificial Spring in the pile of dusty and grey refuse.

Although I studied frame restoration at the Louvre in Paris, France, I prefer to sell my original oil paintings unframed due to the history of frames and the framing process.
I feel that the frame finishes the painting and offers the patron an outlet to express their response to the painting and to contribute to the completion of the artwork.
It brings me joy to see the various ways in which my patrons have chosen to complete their pieces.
